Swagbucks Swago: And some honest truth

Earlier this month I told you about Swagbucks' team challenge.  Well I just saw that they have one more extra way to earn more points, called SB, for April. It's the return of Swago! It's just like bingo, but in this case you're filling out squares as you earn points on their site for doing things you already do online like searching, browsing stores online, etc.

I usually my points to get free Amazon gift cards although I've also redeemed for Sephora, Babies R Us, and Paypal cash!  There are lots of other stores available---Kohls, Macys, iTunes, ebay, Steam (that's right---you can fund your gaming with Swagbucks!), and more.

Here's the bit of honest truth I promised: for Swagbucks users in the USA the most recent SWAGO boards have had the middle square be a purchase of MyGiftCards Plus. MyGiftCardsPlus seems legit but I've never used it. I prefer to do the spaces on the SWAGO board that don't have a cost (and there are plenty).  To get the full whole board and the 700 SB (worth $7) bonus, it's very likely you'd have to buy a gift card.
I'll stick with the spaces that are completely free.  I currently have $75 worth of Swagbucks so clearly the website is worth it, even for people like me who are tightwads.  I earn $$ not spend it. ;)

Remember when I told you that I earned $334 from Swagbucks in 2016?  I'm full steam ahead for earning this year too!  One great way to maximize earning is to join in on their team challenges. In honor of Easter, Swagbucks is giving us another challenge that starts Monday, April 17th.  For those of you who don't know what Swagbucks is, it's a website where you can earn points, called SB, redeemable for gift cards for completing simple activities like taking the daily poll, watching short videos, and searching the web. 

Here's how you can join the challenge and the site:
1. Click here to join the challenge and be assigned to a team. Pre-registration is going on right now! If you don't already have an account, you can sign up on this page as well.
2. Starting April 17th at 8am PDT, in addition to earning SB you'll contribute points to your teams total as you complete different activities on Swagbucks.
3. Check back on the page often to see the scores and what you've contribute so far.   

All members who participate and contribute at least 400 points to their team’s total will receive a SB bonus in the form of a SB Swag Up Rebate --that means when you redeem for a gift card between Friday April 21s and Sunday May 7th, you'll get points back.  I've done this multiple times and the points always credit back within about one minute.  PLUS, if you earn 300 SB before May 1st, you'll get a 300 SB bonus (as long as you've signed up under me)!

The rebate works like this....if you are on the 1st place team, you get a 50 SB rebate.
2nd place team-25 SB rebate
3rd place team-10 SB rebate

*There are only three teams so as long as you contribute 400 points to your team (totally doable), you are guaranteed to get SOMETHING back as a rebate!*
