  1. Was this a tricky post? X and Z would be a challenge for me! As always, I'm hungry reading your list. Time to find something to eat!

    1. Yes! X was especially hard! I think what a lot of people do for X is make a xylophone shaped snack, or give pretzel sticks and have kids cross them to make an x, or do X shaped cookies. But I was looking for foods that START with x.

    2. Xtra (or Xtreme, I can't remember) Cheddar Goldfish crackers. I just got done with X week and I did choose snacks that had X in them since that's what our curriculum vocab cards do. (besides we are teaching letter sounds and xylophone has a "Z" sound) Pringles Stix work well for making X's and them eating them. Sixlets candy,

  2. How interesting you had to combine them, I guess not many words in general with those four! Zeros are my favorite candy bars! I said that in a post the other day and my mom bought one for me :) These are such neat lists, they are interesting to read.

    1. Yeah, these last guys in the alphabet are elusive when it comes to food. :)

That's awesome that your mom saw your blog post and then brought you a Zero bar!

  3. Can I send all my zucchini to you? I don't like it. Well, not totally. I do like zucchini bread. I kind of miss having little ones so that I can really have fun participating in these kind of posts.

    1. Now that is a combination I've never had before but it actually sounds quite good. Do you add any ice cream toppings or just the ice cream plain on a waffle?

    1. Yes, by all means include the kids in making the snacks if you are able to! I know here if you are a licensed care facility you can only let kids touch what THEY are going to eat, no more letting one kid dump in the flour and one kid dump in the eggs and one dump in chocolate chips.
