Writer's Block Tip (Fail).

I was just reading an article about tips for overcoming writer's block.  It wasn't what I expected but was an interesting read until I got to the tip that said:

"Write with your non-dominant hand."

LOLZ you guys.  Can you imagine what that would look like?

I made this in Microsoft Paint. It would be even worse if I wrote it left-handed.

  1. That looks good for a dominant hand to me! You should see my signature when signing for a parcel on those little hand-held devices-not even close to my regular signature! Have a great week!

  2. Did you see the SITS Girls 28 post ideas for February? http://www.pinterest.com/pin/25332816628092693/ or this one I just saw about using Google Alerts to come up with ideas to see what's trending? Good luck with writer's block.

I had surgery on my non-dominant hand a few years ago, it was awful attemtring to write left-handed. How is that supposed to help you get over writer's block? i'd end up frustrated and give up writing all together!

  3. Sometimes it helps to get the juices flowing from the other side of the brain as well.

  4. Yeah--that would not help me with writers block. It would want me to stop writing altogether. Unless I made it a blog post like what you did :)

  5. Yip, that won't work for me either. There is a lady that swears by it though (Rebecca Marina), more for unlocking your unconscious side, but not for me, I just got frustrated.

  7. Wow. I guess I can understand trying to unlock the other side of your brain as others have mentioned, but I don't think it would work for me. :) The tip itself gave you a great idea though. :)
